SCRUBBIES FRANCHISE/ INFO
How a Scrubbies franchise can be tailored to fit your requirements.
Our franchise system is very flexible. It can be suited to any size area. We have 3 levels of franchises, small, medium and large. You can choose a small area and be active in doing cleaning jobs yourself, or you may want a larger area and simply be a manager and hire others to do the cleaning.
Most other franchises will only work in larger areas because you need a large market base to realize a return on your investment in their huge fees (initial and monthly). Yet people everywhere want the same things and that includes smaller areas. People there need their homes cleaned the same as folks who live in large cities.
A small Scrubbies franchise can accommodate these clients and you can make money.
Large cities and metro areas will provide you an incredible opportunity to make money due to the sheer numbers of potential customers. With our marketing plan in these areas, the potential is virtually limitless
Advantages
There are several reasons that make a Scrubbies franchise a wise choice. Features that are very different from other cleaning franchises that will mean more profit for you.
1. The most basic reason is our name - Scrubbies. Our name seems to have a positive attraction to it. We often hear that customers chose Scrubbies simply because they liked the name. They liked the image it portrayed in their minds; perhaps because the word "scrub" is in the name, or some have said the word "Scrubbies" says it all.
2. Our initial franchise fee is very reasonable and gives you value for your money. Some others are priced significantly higher yet you will not get anything more than we can give you. Some are apparently very cheap which means they cannot possibly afford to give you the support you need. Both tend to be more interested in selling franchises than they are in your success. Scrubbies, on the other hand, certainly does want to sell franchises, but we are equally interested in building successful long term business relationships with a large number of individuals.
3. Our royalties are not crippling nor do we charge a bunch of extra fees for numerous additional services that the franchisee may or may not want. New franchises have the added advantage of not having to pay royalty fees for the first three months while they build their business.

1. The simple truth about franchises.
If you are planning to go into business, one option is to consider purchasing a franchise. While purchasing a franchise can seem more expensive than starting a business from “scratch”, the success rate of franchises is much higher than for start-ups because you are investing in a proven product and method with an organization that will provide training support and other services. This reduces your risk and enhances your return on investment and most often can help you avoid the costly mistakes that cause independent start-ups to fail.
2. What is a Franchise?
A franchise is a legal agreement between a franchisor (seller) and a franchisee, in which the franchisor grants the franchisee the right to use their name and to distribute services developed by the franchisor. This is in a specific location and for a specified period of time. In return, the franchisee pays the franchisor a predetermined fee.
(A Scrubbies franchisee buys the rights to market cleaning services for a five year term in a protected area that has the right to use corporate trademarks and marketing plan in a complete Turn-key system.).
It should be noted that when you enter into a franchise agreement, you are not really “buying a business” but you are buying the rights to conduct business under an agreement for a specified period of time.
Be aware of the frauds and scams.
Quite honestly – Buyer beware.
If a franchisor is offering claims that seems too good to be true, the likely are. (90% of franchisees who buy from an honest franchisor will enjoy long term survival.) There are likely thousands of franchises in Canada with annual revenues of approximately 100 billion dollars. But, the success of franchising has also attracted fraudulent promoters. The Better Business Bureau suggests that you beware of franchisors that:
Promise exorbitant profits from meager investments.
(You do not get what you pay for.)
Demand that you “act immediately so you can get in on the ground floor”.
(Remember – a good opportunity today will still be a good opportunity tomorrow.)
Promise “easy sale” of products or service.
(Any business worthwhile takes hard work to succeed.)
Promise profits through chain sales or pyramid schemes in which you make money by selling other franchises or distributorships.
(Scrubbies is not a pyramid scheme.)
Promise large incomes in a short time from “work at home” or “spare time” efforts.
(Scrubbies franchisees can make large incomes, but it will take some time to work at and develop your business.)
3. Are you cut out to be a franchisee?
Before buying a franchise, ask yourself the following questions:
a) Are you ready to take on the responsibilities of starting and running your own business?
b) Does your family accept your choice and are they ready to support you?
c) Will you enjoy the job enough to make a commitment to it for at least five years?
d )Are you willing to follow the franchisor’s rules and system or do you tend to want to re-invent the wheel?
e) Do you like dealing with people and are you good at it? (You will have to interact with customers, staff and the franchisor.)
